About Noah

Hello and welcome.  My name is Noah Santorello, and I’m currently a student pilot training for my Private Pilot License (PPL).

I fly with Tomoharu Nishino at Fischer Aviation and do my training in a Cessna 172M.

I write about my flight lessons as a way to review, remember, and reflect on the mistakes I made and the things I learned.  I also write about various aviation topics that I struggle with or find interesting to help myself better understand them.  Hopefully you gain something from reading my blog, whether it’s a deeper understanding of a topic or insight into what it’s like to be a student pilot.

Lastly, please note a few things when reading:

  • I’m a student pilot–things that I write may be wrong.  However, I do as much research as I can and try to be thorough.  I’ll often link back to the web pages and articles where I find my information.
  • I do my flying in a Cessna 172M, which is a single propeller, high wing, fixed gear, tricycle wheel airplane.  The things that I write about may be specific to this type or model of aircraft.
